NDTE acoustic methods for Integrated Health Monitoring (Structural Health Monitoring - SHM)
This IS research based on the strong synergy of skills developed by members of the cluster ECND-PdL in terms of linear and nonlinear acoustics, Including ultrasound of complex materials, the acoustic emission, information processing, Inverse Problems and instrumentation. The Proposed research aim, using integrated sensors to materials and / or structures diffuse damage to the characterization and / or localized and monitor the Health of complex materials (composites, concrete, ...) with AIM to estimate Their Remaining life (Remaining potential) .
To this end, we propose a method to apply in emerging NDTE, nonlinear acoustics and acoustic emission in materials and structures with piezoelectric elements Instrumented, Malthus favoring a comprehensive characterization and control of integrated health.
